ArtNook: Aaron Winston “open: a study of lidded forms”

 In ArtNook, Design

Come by and take a look at our new display  “open: a study of lidded forms” by local artist and ceramics instructor, Aaron Winston.

Aaron earned a Master’s degree in Printmaking  from the University of New Mexico, where he was introduced to the traditional Japanese practice of throwing porcelain. From working with an industrial designer to teaching at the City of Boulder Pottery Lab, Aaron continues to pursue ceramics, learn, and discover how clay shapes those that choose to collaborate with it.

His display showcases six pieces, porcelain and stoneware, reduction fired to cone 10.
