Alejandra Baltodano, AIA

Since joining Gettliffe Architecture, architect Alejandra Baltodano has applied her broad ranging expertise and innovative vision to all facets of the firm. Resourceful and an essential part of our team of architects, her analytical and questioning approach creates new design opportunities for each project. Alejandra’s appreciation of clear, artistic structural expression emphasizes the integration of architecture and engineering as a single art.

Alejandra promotes the company’s international reach, with a focus on ecotourism and community development in Central America. As Gettliffe Architecture offers more services abroad with a new base in Nicaragua, she serves as a link between worlds and cultures.

Alejandra grew up in Nicaragua and her experiences enjoying tropical nature through architecture inspired her to become an architect. She completed her Bachelor’s of Architecture at Pennsylvania State University (2004) and is an NCARB certified, licensed architect. Living in Boulder, Colorado, has furthered her appreciation for sustainable architecture and passive solar design. She also enjoys connecting with and participating in international organizations that pursue community and tourism development.
