As Studio Manager at Gettliffe Architecture, Lorraine draws upon her diverse background to take on the multifaceted nature of the position.
Lorraine’s interest in green and sustainable building ideas drew her to Gettliffe, where she hopes to gain a practical understanding of sustainability and design as applied to the built environment. She finds the firm’s core principles of sustainability, community, simplicity and connection to the natural environment to align with her own interests and background and very much enjoys contributing to the team.
Originally from the East coast, Lorraine came to Colorado in 2016. Earning degrees in Fine Arts and Biology, Lorraine’s personal and professional interests are broad. She has lived in Bolivia, has spent a number of years working as a construction volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and most recently worked as a fisheries biologist on board commercial fishing vessels in Alaska. Lorraine is a passionate fly-fisherman and enjoys painting, drawing, and reading.
